"سایہ جس کا کوئی چہرہ نہیں"

ہوا میں عجیب سی ٹھنڈ پھیل گئی۔

ارحم کو پہلی بار لگا جیسے جزیرہ اس کا اپنا نہیں رہا۔ وہ تبدیلی محسوس ہو رہی تھی جو طوفان سے پہلے آتی ہے، مگر آج وہ طوفان اس کے لیے مخصوص تھا۔

نگہبان نے شعلہ ارحم کے ہاتھ سے چھین کر کہا:

“اب اسے مضبوطی سے پکڑ کر کھڑے رہنا… کیونکہ سایہ روشنی سے ہی بنتا ہے۔”

پہاڑیوں سے وہ سیاہ لکیریں اب شکل اختیار کرنے لگی تھیں۔

یہ کوئی جانور نہیں تھا۔

کوئی انسان نہیں۔

کوئی روح بھی نہیں۔

یہ ایک ایسی چیز تھی جو اندر کے خوف سے بنی ہو۔

جب وہ قریب آیا تو ہوا میں دھوئیں جیسی موج اٹھی، اور ایک آواز گونجی—

گہری، کھوکھلی، اور جیسے سینکڑوں لوگ ایک ساتھ بول رہے ہوں:

“ارحم…”

ارحم کی ٹانگیں کانپ گئیں۔

 پہلے کبھی ایسا نہیں ہوا تھا۔

سایہ اتنا طاقتور کیوں لگ رہا تھا؟

نگہبان چیخا:

“اس کی طرف مت دیکھو! یہ تمہارے الفاظ نہیں، تمہارے ڈر کا عکس ہے۔”

لیکن دیر ہو چکی تھی۔

🌑 سایہ کا پہلا حملہ

ہوا اچانک پھٹ گئی۔

سایہ ایک لمحے میں ارحم کے سامنے تھا، اور اس نے اپنا ہاتھ بڑھایا۔

وہ ہاتھ نہیں—سیاہ دھواں تھا، مگر اس میں گرفت کی طاقت تھی۔

وہ دھواں ارحم کے سینے سے ٹکرایا…

اور ارحم کی سانس رک گئی۔

اس کی آنکھوں کے سامنے پچھلے تمام انکار، ذلتیں، ناکامیاں، ٹوٹے خواب—

سب ایک ساتھ گھومنے لگے۔

ہر آواز جیسے چاقو تھی:

“تم کچھ نہیں کر سکتے…”

“تم غلط ہو…”

“تم کمزور ہو…”

ارحم زمین پر گر گیا۔

روشنی والا شعلہ ہاتھ سے چھوٹ کر دور لڑھک گیا۔

سایہ اس کے اوپر جھک کر بولا:

“میں نے کہا تھا… میں تمہاری ہر سوچ پر حکومت کرتا ہوں…”

🌟 روشنی کی واپسی

جیسے ہی سایہ نے اسے پوری طرح گھیر لیا، اچانک جزیرہ زلزلے کی طرح ہلا۔

آسمان پھٹا اور سفید روشنی کی ایک لکیر زمین پر گری۔

اس روشنی سے جزیرہ بھر گیا۔

سائے نے چیخ ماری۔

نگہبان بلند آواز میں بولا:

“اے جزیرے! اسے تحفظ دے! یہ وہ نہیں جو تم سمجھتے ہو—یہ تمہاری اگلی نسل کا روشن مسافر ہے!”

روشنی نے ارحم کے گرد ایک گول دائرہ بنا دیا۔

سایہ پیچھے ہٹ گیا۔

وہ چیختا ہوا دھند میں غائب ہو گیا، مگر جاتے جاتے صرف ایک جملہ چھوڑ گیا:

"میں واپس آؤں گا… اس بار تمہارے اندر سے۔"

🌅 ارحم کا فیصلہ

روشنی کا دائرہ ٹوٹا۔

ارحم بمشکل اٹھا۔

نگہبان اس کے پاس آیا، اس کے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا:

“تم نے آج صرف سایہ نہیں دیکھا… تم نے اپنی جنگ کا پہلا دشمن پہچانا ہے۔ لیکن جنگ ابھی ختم نہیں ہوئی۔”

ارحم نے خاموشی سے horizon کی طرف دیکھا۔

اس نے اپنے ہاتھ میں دوبارہ شعلہ پکڑا، جو پہلے سے زیادہ روشن تھا۔

“مجھے پتہ ہے… جو آنے والا ہے وہ پہلے سے زیادہ مشکل ہوگا۔ مگر میں بھاگنے نہیں آیا۔ میں اپنی کہانی مکمل کرنے آیا ہوں۔”

نگہبان نے مسکرا کر آسمان کی طرف دیکھا:

“تو پھر ٹھیک ہے… جزیرہ تمہیں آگے کا راستہ دکھائے گا۔”

اور جیسے ہی ارحم نے قدم بڑھایا—

زمین خود نئی سمت میں کھلنے لگی۔

سوچوں کا جزیرہ… اب ایک نئے باب کے لیے تیار تھا۔

"Shadow without a face"

A strange chill spread through the air.

For the first time, Arham felt as if the island was not his own. He was feeling the change that comes before a storm, but today the storm was special to him.

The guardian snatched the flame from Arham's hand and said:

"Now hold it tightly and stand still... because the shadow is made of light."

Those black lines from the hills were now beginning to take shape.

It was not an animal.

Not a human.

Not even a spirit.

It was something made of fear within.

As he approached, a wave like smoke rose in the air, and a voice echoed—

Deep, hollow, and as if hundreds of people were speaking at once:

"Arham..."

Arham's legs trembled.

It had never happened before.

Why did the shadow seem so powerful?

The guard shouted:

“Don’t look at him! These are not your words, they are a reflection of your fear.”

But it was too late.

🌑 The first attack of the shadow

The air suddenly split.

The shadow was in front of Arham in an instant, and he extended his hand.

It was not a hand—it was black smoke, but it had the power to grip.

The smoke hit Arham’s chest…

And Arham’s breath stopped.

Before his eyes, all the previous denials, humiliations, failures, broken dreams—

all began to spin together.

Every voice was like a knife:

“You can’t do anything…”

“You are wrong…”

“You are weak…”

Arham fell to the ground.

The flame of light escaped his hand and rolled away.

The shadow leaned over him and said:

“I said… I control your every thought…”

🌟 The return of the light

As the shadow completely surrounded him, the island suddenly shook like an earthquake.

The sky split and a streak of white light fell to the ground.

The light filled the island.

The shadow screamed.

The guardian spoke in a loud voice:

“O island! Protect him! This is not what you think—this is the bright traveler of your next generation!”

The light formed a circle around Arham.

The shadow retreated.

He disappeared into the fog screaming, but as he went, he left only one sentence:

“I will return… this time from within you.”

🌅 Arham’s decision

The circle of light broke.

Arham barely got up.

The guardian came to him, placed a hand on his shoulder:

“You did not just see a shadow today… you have recognized the first enemy of your war. But the war is not over yet.”

Arham silently looked towards the horizon.

He held the flame in his hand again, which was brighter than before.

“I know… what’s coming will be harder than before. But I didn’t come to run away. I came to finish my story.”

The Guardian smiled and looked up at the sky:

“Well then… the island will show you the way forward.”

And as Arham took a step forward—

the earth itself began to open up in a new direction.

The island of thoughts… was now ready for a new chapter.
