📿 ہمیں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے محبت ہے!
حقیقی محبت کا معیار اور نجات کی راہ
اللہ تعالیٰ نے انسان کو محبت کی نعمت سے نوازا ہے۔ محبت ایک ایسا جذبہ ہے جو انسان کو اس کے محبوب سے جوڑے رکھتا ہے۔ لیکن سب سے اہم اور عظیم محبت وہ ہے جو اللہ اور اس کے آخری رسول حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہو۔ یہ محبت محض زبانی دعویٰ نہیں، بلکہ عملی اتباع، اطاعت اور وفاداری کا نام ہے۔ ارشاد باری تعالیٰ ہے:
"قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ"
(آل عمران: 31)
"اے نبی! کہہ دو کہ اگر تم اللہ سے محبت رکھتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو، اللہ تم سے محبت کرے گا۔"
اس آیت سے واضح ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ سے محبت کا دعویٰ اس وقت تک ادھورا ہے جب تک رسول اللہ ﷺ کی اتباع نہ کی جائے۔
💖 آپ ﷺ کی محبت: ایمان کی بنیاد
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے خود فرمایا:
"لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ"
(صحیح بخاری، کتاب الایمان، حدیث: 15؛ صحیح مسلم، حدیث: 44)
"تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس وقت تک حقیقی مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک میں اسے اس کے والد، اس کی اولاد اور تمام لوگوں سے زیادہ محبوب نہ ہو جاؤں۔"
یہ حدیث محبت رسول کے معیار کو واضح کرتی ہے۔ اگر ہمارے دل میں آقا ﷺ کی محبت والدین، اولاد، مال، دنیاوی تعلقات یا حتیٰ کہ اپنی جان سے بھی زیادہ نہیں ہے تو ہمارا ایمان مکمل نہیں۔
🌹 جنت میں رفاقت کی بشارت
اب آتے ہیں اس خوشخبری کی طرف جو آپ نے فرمائی:
"الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ"
(صحیح بخاری، کتاب الادب، حدیث: 6168؛ صحیح مسلم، حدیث: 2641)
"آدمی اُسی کے ساتھ ہوگا جس سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے۔"
یہ حدیث اہل ایمان کے لیے بہت بڑی بشارت ہے کہ جو شخص رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سچی محبت رکھتا ہے، وہ آخرت میں آپ کے ساتھ ہوگا۔
اور ایک حدیث میں صراحت ہے:
"مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي كَانَ مَعِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ"
(سنن ترمذی، کتاب الزهد، حدیث: 2390؛ طبرانی کبیر، حدیث: 765)
"جس نے مجھ سے محبت کی، وہ جنت میں میرے ساتھ ہوگا۔"
کیا یہ بشارت کسی مومن کے لیے سب سے بڑی خوشخبری نہیں کہ اسے جنت میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی رفاقت نصیب ہوگی؟ لیکن یہ محبت صرف دعوے کی نہیں بلکہ عمل کی محبت ہونی چاہیے۔
🚫 یہود و نصاریٰ سے دوستی کا حکم
محبتِ رسول کا تقاضا یہ بھی ہے کہ ہم ان لوگوں سے دوستی نہ کریں جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے دشمن ہیں۔ قرآن مجید میں واضح حکم دیا گیا:
"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ"
(المائدہ: 51)
"اے ایمان والو! یہود اور نصاریٰ کو اپنا دوست (یا سرپرست) نہ بناؤ، یہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں۔"
یہ حکم محض عداوت یا تعصب کی بنا پر نہیں، بلکہ اس لیے ہے کہ ان کے عقائد اور اعمال اسلام سے متصادم ہیں۔ اگر کوئی مومن ان سے دل کی گہرائیوں میں دوستی کرے گا تو رفتہ رفتہ اس کا ایمان متاثر ہو سکتا ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے بارے میں یہ بھی فرماتا ہے:
"تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّىٰ"
(الحشر: 14)
"تم انہیں اکٹھے سمجھتے ہو (کہ وہ متحد ہیں)، مگر ان کے دل الگ الگ ہیں۔"
یعنی ظاہر میں وہ ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ مل جل کر رہتے ہیں، لیکن ان کے دلوں میں حقیقی الفت اور محبت نہیں ہے۔ ان کا آپس کا اتحاد محض مفاد پر مبنی ہے، جبکہ اہل ایمان کا اتحاد ایمان اور محبت الٰہی پر مبنی ہے۔
❤️ حقیقی محبت کا تقاضا: اتباع اور بیزاری
ہمیں یہ سمجھنا ہوگا کہ محبت کا مطلب صرف جذبات نہیں بلکہ عملی زندگی میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی سنت کو اپنانا اور ان کے دشمنوں سے بیزاری اختیار کرنا ہے۔
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ وَأَعْطَى لِلَّهِ وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ"
(سنن ابی داؤد، حدیث: 4681؛ ترمذی، حدیث: 2521)
"جس نے اللہ کے لیے محبت کی، اللہ کے لیے بغض رکھا، اللہ کے لیے دیا اور اللہ کے لیے روکا، اس نے ایمان مکمل کر لیا۔"
یہاں "اللہ کے لیے بغض" سے مراد یہ ہے کہ ہم ان لوگوں سے عداوت رکھیں جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے دشمن ہیں، خواہ وہ یہود ہوں، نصاریٰ ہوں یا کسی اور مذہب سے تعلق رکھتے ہوں۔
🕋 خلاصہ: آخرت میں فلاح کی راہ
اگر ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ آخرت میں ہمیں فلاح ملے، جنت میں داخلہ ہو اور وہاں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی رفاقت نصیب ہو، تو ہمیں درج ذیل باتوں پر عمل کرنا ہوگا:
اللہ اور رسول سے محبت کو ہر چیز پر مقدم رکھنا – والدین، اولاد، مال، جاہ و منصب سب پر۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ کی سنت کی پیروی کرنا – ہر معاملے میں آپ کے بتائے ہوئے راستے پر چلنا۔
کافروں سے دوستی اور محبت سے بچنا – خاص طور پر یہود و نصاریٰ کو حقیقی دوست اور سرپرست نہ بنانا۔
دوسرے مسلمانوں سے محبت اور الفت رکھنا – کیونکہ مومن آپس میں ایک جسم کی مانند ہیں۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں سچی محبت رسول عطا فرمائے، ہمیں سنت پر چلنے کی توفیق دے، اور ہمیں یہود و نصاریٰ کی دوستی سے بچائے۔ آمین ثم آمین۔
اور یاد رکھیں:
"الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ"
جو جس سے محبت کرے گا، اسی کے ساتھ اٹھے گا۔ اگر ہم نے دنیا میں رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سچی محبت کی، تو آخرت میں ہم آپ کے ساتھ ہوں گے۔ بیشک یہ سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے۔
English translation
📿 We love Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon you!
The standard of true love and the path to salvation
Allah Almighty has blessed man with the gift of love. Love is a feeling that connects a man to his beloved. But the most important and greatest love is the one that is with Allah and His last Messenger, Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). This love is not just a verbal claim, but is the name of practical adherence, obedience and loyalty. Allah Almighty says:
"O Prophet! Say, 'If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you.'" (Aal Imran: 31)
This verse makes it clear that the claim of love for Allah is incomplete unless the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is followed.
💖 Love for Him (ﷺ): The Foundation of Faith
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) himself said:
"None of you can truly believe until I am more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all of mankind."
(Sahih Bukhari, Kitab al-Iman, Hadith: 15; Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 44)
This hadith clarifies the standard of love for the Prophet. If our love for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) does not exceed our parents, children, wealth, worldly relations, or even our own lives, then our faith is not complete.
🌹 The Good News of Companionship in Paradise
Now let us come to the good news that you said:
"A man will be with whom he loves." (Sahih Bukhari, Kitab al-Adab, Hadith: 6168; Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2641)
This hadith is great good news for the believers that whoever truly loves the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) will be with him in the Hereafter.
And another hadith clearly states:
"Whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise." (Sunan Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Zuhd, Hadith: 2390; Tabarani Kabir, Hadith: 765)
Isn't this the greatest good news for a believer that he will be blessed with the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Paradise? But this love should not be just a claim but a love of action.
🚫 The commandment of friendship with Jews and Christians
The requirement of love for the Messenger is that we should not befriend those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger. The Holy Quran clearly commands:
"O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as friends (or protectors); they are friends of one another." (Al-Ma'idah: 51)
This ruling is not based on mere enmity or prejudice, but rather because their beliefs and actions are contrary to Islam. If a believer befriends them deeply, his faith may gradually be affected.
Allah Almighty also says about them:
"You think they are one, but their hearts are different."
(Al-Hashr: 14)
That is, outwardly they live together, but there is no true affection and love in their hearts. Their unity among themselves is based solely on interest, while the unity of the believers is based on faith and divine love.
❤️ The requirement of true love: adherence and aversion
We must understand that love does not mean only emotions, but also adopting the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in practical life and aversion to his enemies.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah and withholds for the sake of Allah, has perfected faith.”
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4681; Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2521)
Here, “hatred for the sake of Allah” means that we should have enmity towards those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, whether they are Jews, Christians or any other religion.
🕋 Summary: The Path to Success in the Hereafter
If we want to achieve success in the Hereafter, enter Paradise and be blessed with the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) there, then we must act on the following:
Putting love for Allah and the Messenger before everything else – parents, children, wealth and position.
Following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) – following the path he has shown us in every matter.
Avoiding friendship and love with infidels – especially not making Jews and Christians your true friends and protectors.
Having love and affection for other Muslims – because believers are like one body.
May Allah Almighty grant us true love for the Messenger, enable us to follow the Sunnah, and protect us from friendship with Jews and Christians. Amen.
And remember this saying of Muhammad (peace be upon him): Whoever loves someone will be with him on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, if we truly loved the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in this world, we will be with him in the Hereafter. Indeed, this is the greatest achievement.
